The Daily Mirror is a well known tabloid which tends to follow a left-wing bias on political controversies; it also focuses celebrity gossip, sports and recent news. During the election period they have published content on Donald Trump since he was globally become the center of attention. The front over of this tabloid clearly shows how Trump's republican and political agenda differs to the Daily mirror's left-winged views, which is why they don't even present his face. This could be due to the fact that they are ashamed enough by his victory, so the use of the Statue of Liberty is supposed to express their attitudes along with many others that can sympathise. This could suggest that her face is covered with shame connoting how Trump will lead the country to a downfall. The layout for broadsheets tend to be plainer compared to tabloids with limited colours and subtle images aimed for higher social groupings. Examples for broadsheets would include 'The Times', 'Daily Telegraph', 'The Independent'. As for tabloids, they have a more short, informal approach and tend to a lot shorter on detailed content. They solely focus on celebrity gossips, involve astrological readings, television and at the back they would include gimmicks like bingo.
